About the Firm

Ord & Noder was set up in 1997 by Bodil Ashkenazy and is a continuation of the firm 1992 Translations, which was set up in London in 1990. Bodil Ashkenazy is educated at the Copenhagen Business School and on the European Commission's course for simultaneous interpretation and is state-authorised translator and interpreter in English (Danish mother tongue) and simultaneous interpreter. She has over 20 years' experience with linguistic work.

Bodil Ashkenazy lived and worked in London for 6 years. Among her employers were a firm of lawyers, tax consultants and a construction firm. She has also worked as a freelance interpreter for Scotland Yard. Furthermore, she has worked as simultaneous interpreter at the European Commission in Brussels. Previous jobs include the European Parliament, the shipping firm A. P. Møller, Wilhelm Hansen Concert Management and Aalborg University.

Bodil Ashkenazy is approved as Court Interpreter in Denmark.

Ord & Noder cooperates with other highly qualified translators and interpreters.
